AUTUMN FLIGHT

Inspired by the wonderful Autumns of the Adelaide Hills this 'tumbling' sequence of timber sculptures consisted of a number of different Autumn leaf configurations, single, double and tripple. Presented as part of the 2013 SALA Arts Festival at Deviation Road Winery. Constructed from recycled Redgum railway sleepers and mild steel.

This work explores my interest in the connections between constructed geometic forms and those that occur naturally.
