Quentin was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1961 and graduated from the South Australian College of Advanced Education ( now The University of South Australia ) with a Bachelor of Industrial Design and is on track to also graduate in 2020 from Adelaide Central School of Art with an Associate Degree in Visual Art. In 2017 he was awarded a Fellow of The Design Institute of Australia, FDIA.
Quentin balances his time working as a design consultant and a visual artist. He has a studio in the Adelaide Hills and has been producing and exhibiting his sculpture regularly over the last decade in various shows around Adelaide including the Heysen Sculpture Biennial. Many of his works evolve from simple geometric patterns that can been found in nature and often utilise found objects particularly recycled timbers but he is equally competent in the use of metal and stone. He has a deep interest in environmental protection and conservation.
