LOT FOURTEEN
SITE MARKER
This work was developed in collaboration with fellow artist and designer Gregg Mitchell for Renewal SA. The brief was to create an iconic, sculptural site marker for the new future industries focused precinct called Lot Fourteen, located in the heart of the City of Adelaide, South Australia.
It was a challenging, high profile site, located on the corner of North Terrace and Frome Road adjacent to a number of heritage buildings.
The lattice structure, that stands fourteen metres high, is built of stainless steel and brass referencing the former history of the site when it operated for over one hundred years as the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
The work was skillfully constructed and installed by the team at Iguana Creative.
